Babble on.

I still get goosebumps.

Every weekday morning as I walk out the front door, my wife says "Drive safe" as though that simple phrase will ward off the evil spirits of traffic accidents. I think I've become as superstitious about it as she is, because on the odd day when I leave before the rest of the house is awake, I miss hearing it.

Drive safe, Discovery.

Babble off.

My wife does the same thing. It's like, hey thanks, I would have driven like a lunatic if you hadn't said anything!

Thanks for the kind words on my blog.

Hate to burst your bubble, but I have a mission update on my site, looks like they may have lost a heat tile......

I do the same thing with my husband. In six years together, I forgot one day to say "be safe" as we parted. I was a total mess all day, convinced he was dead. I've never forgotten again and he has come home alive and undamaged ever since. Coincidence? I (and it would seem your wife) think not. To the discovery crew I say: BE SAFE.
