Are you nuts?

The Honourable Sock Puppet for National Defence is now telling Canadians - with a perfectly straight face - that he's going to take politics out of the military procurement process.

Has anyone clued this second-tier Ditheral into what's gone on at the Gomery inquiry and beyond this week (with props to Penny)? Because it looks like he actually wants us to believe that Liberals are capable of debriding government contracts of any political interference - and what's more, that they're willing to.

You've got to be kidding me.
